Before Arriving at the Terminal
Driver must know his SCAC code (Standard Carrier Alpha Code)
Have complete and correct documentation (see documentation requirements)
Know the booking number and steamship line (Your arrival/departure may be delayed if you don't have correct information)

If you plan to Load Out, Load In, or Empty Out, use the Container Inquiry Telephone System, 713-678-7600, or the Container and Booking Information web link to verify:
1) the status of an import container
2) if the booking is on file

All containers must be clean inside when returned

Pre-gate Truck Transactions
Using WebAccess, users can create Pre-gate Truck Transactions. Once completed, the Pre-Gate Truck Transaction will generate a PIN number that allows a truck the opportunity to bypass the Inbound Pre-Check lanes (Stage 1), and go directly to the Inbound Inspection lanes (Stage 2). This service is offered to the trucking community. Please contact John Etta at 281-470-5584 for more details.
