As a part of the Small Business Development Program, small businesses can take advantage of opportunities such as the Inter-agency Mentor Protégé Program (IMPP) program. The program aims to help small businesses become more self-sustaining by fostering long-term relationships between contractors (mentors) and Port Authority certified small businesses (protégés) as well as those businesses registered with other partnering agencies. By enrolling in Port University, certified small businesses can learn how to do business with the port while making valuable contacts in various port departments.
You can learn more about the other benefits of the Small Business Development Program by reading our brochure.
Registered small businesses can log into the Port of Houston Authority Vendor Information System Small Business Database here.
