Here you can learn about how to do business with the port and what the opportunities are currently.
The first step to doing business with the Port of Houston Authority is becoming registered in the Port of Houston Vendor Information System (VIS). The VIS is your portal to opportunities to do business with the port.
We will be transitioning to BuySpeed e-Procurement System in the Second Quarter of 2016. At that time, all vendors and suppliers who wish to do business with the Port of Houston or receive bid notifications MUST RE-REGISTER WITHIN BUYSPEED.
It is our policy to conduct all our business relationships with integrity and honestly, we respectfully request that any expressions of your thoughtfulness toward our employees be kept to a minimal value. Our policy requires that Port Authority employees may not accept gifts or entertainment with a value over $50 from individuals or firms conducting business with the Port Authority.
