Truck drivers and all port users are required to have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in order to enter port property. The card is mandated by federal law and the program is administered by two federal agencies that are part of the Department of Homeland Security, namely the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).

The Port Authority’s online information system that tracks vessel arrivals and container movements is called Lynx. In order to register and begin using the system, please visit http://csp.poha.com/lynx.
The Port Authority has developed a mobile app that allows you to use your smart phone or device to check on the status of a container and its availability to be picked up. It is very simple to use and the instructions can be found here.
